Thing 7: Anything on Technology

I like being a part of group email accounts. They help decrease the amount of photocopying needing to be done and the time it takes to drive to the office supply store to do that. Everyone receives the needed documents (through alternative means if need be) and can choose to print them or not. You can also have an events calendar section, files section, and photos section that everyone in your group can access. Your emails list can be searchable for topics in the subject line. The groups that I am in are by invitation only, which I would prefer anyway. In writing this thing 7, these email groups sound a lot like flickr groups, which have the option to be by invitation only. Flickr groups are for people having a similar passion through photography and discussing common interests, recommendations, etc.
